My spouse and I were back in Grand Rapids over the winter holidays to visit friends. We stopped by Lucy's for brunch. I've been here a few times since they opened and somehow, it appears that I've never written a review! Lucy's is one of my all-time favorite brunch places. The food is always perfectly prepared. The menu is interesting and has all of the favorites. On this visit, we took advantage of the waitlist feature, which meant we were seated within five minutes of our arrival. I appreciate it when busy spots offer a virtual queue. We dined with another couple, so a group of four. Everyone ordered something different and seemed to enjoy their meal. Our server, Lisa, deserves a special shout-out. One of our dining companions asked for a recommendation on which skillet to order. Lisa shared her personal favorite, complete with customization. It's awesome when a server knows the menu so well and has the confidence to share her special order.

Great food and amazing atmosphere. I was disappointed they didn't have the grits pictured so I tried the bruschetta omelette and so glad because it is so delicious! My family loves the expresso martinis. We always come here multiple times when I am in town.

Service: we started at the bar and the 2 female bartenders were so much fun! We had the breakfast shots and I had the Bloody Mary "the works' which came with the best small BLT sandwich. Food: food portions were big and delicious. I had the sausage and grits which was made perfectly. We also had the BYOB, Sy's Pot Pie (deconstructed shepherd's pie) and a meat lovers omelette. Ambiance: the restaurant is pretty big with some counter service, tables and booths. There is even a second level upstairs. The wait wasn't too long. Really awesome breakfast restaurant!! Totally recommend.

Lucy's has officially been added to my regular list of rotating brunch/lunch spots. One of my new menu go-tos is the breakfast sandwich. Do not underestimate this option- it features their Cheddar Dill biscuit which is generously adorned with everything-bagel-seasoning and it's incredible. Their vegan sausage is so flavorful, and it has chili crunch aioli. *drool* My dining partners yesterday raved about their real meat sausage, saying it's some of the best they've had. Expect a pricier meal, though- my breakfast sandwich upgraded to vegan sausage (which comes with potatoes fyi) was $19, but it was super filling and I brought half of my sandwich home.

Stopped in for brunch on a weekend. The place was pretty full but we got a table right away. I think they also have an online waitlist so that is worth checking before you drive over. The service was very friendly and extremely fast. The food came out very quickly! I ordered the eggs Benedict which was pretty spot on for what you would expect. Nothing crazy, but a very solid dish overall. Make sure you ask for the hashbrowns crispy for a little extra crunch. The interior is very nicely done and it gives a feeling like you're actually in someone's home/kitchen. Overall, Lucy's is a solid breakfast/brunch spot with great prices, food, and atmosphere.

I was looking for a breakfast spot to take my daughter and sit outside on a patio and Lucy's was exactly what we were looking for. I wish I joined the waitlist on Yelp before arriving since we had to wait for 20 minutes and they literally just have a tablet there to join on Yelp anyways. Our server was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The Chai Tea Latte was very good and perfect to enjoy outside. The kids classic breakfast was the exact same as the BYOB on the main menu. My daughter enjoyed hers and we brought the extras home for another meal. The prices are higher than an average diner but you're paying for higher quality and a nicer atmosphere. The parking was easy with 2 lots and free street parking. On the way out, we grabbed a donut from the glass case and my daughter loved it. We will definitely be back.

Lucy's is excellent, consistently. But it's not on my short list for a weekend breakfast or brunch only because it's so incredibly popular and I know there will be a wait. Joined the list online via Yelp and showed up at the restaurant to physically check in about 15 mins before the earlier time in the projected range of when my party would be sat. Waited for about an additional 10 mins and was promptly greeted and sat after the confirmation text that our table was ready. Our server was efficient and warm, and was able to take our complete order when coming to the table. The food came out quickly and was excellent, but real truth, the bacon roll is TOO GOOD. The stuff of dreams! I appreciate the way that Lucy's has streamlined their operation over the years. Parking can be a challenge, but I lucked out and with a small amount of patience, secured a spot in their adjacent lot.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch here! The food was a little pricey, but what isn't today? I had a hash and had great flavor and was plentiful. The drink was a bit strong, but admittedly I'm not a huge drinker. We sat outside so I don't have much to say about inside. I would go back in a heartbeat though!
